- Onion Root Tip
- Pipe Cleaners
- Plastic Rings
- Beads

Exercises:
- Look at the different stages of mitosis
- Recognize the differences between plant and animal cell division
- Look for dividing cells in plant
- Look if mitosis occurs everywhere throughout the plant body
- Look how to make chromosomes visible
- Find the difference stages of mitosis and what they do (interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis)

- Learn where the energy comes from (movement of molecules in diffusion)
- Learn if gases diffuse into other gases
- Learn if liquids diffuse into solids
- Learn which membranes are selectively permeable or permeable
- Learn how warming the external environment affects diffusion
- Learn how cooling the external environment affects diffusion

Exercises:
- Determine where the glucose is stored
- Determine what you would use to find sugars stored in plants
- Determine the cross-section of the plant and identify the structures and their functions
- Determine how plants acquire energy from sunlight for photosynthesis
- Determine where the chemicals for photosynthesis enter and leave the plant

- Learn how to make we mount slides
- Learn how to stain slides
- Use the information you learned throughout Part I in a forensic crime simulation.
